They can be used as a resist with watercolor washes, scribbled over handcrafted watercolor or layered into wet oil paint. They also are a great mark making tool over dried oil canvases or acrylic matte medium.
The pigment bars create beautiful textured layers and can be mixed with oil painting mediums or mixed together to create new colors.
